Alive - Skissedilla and Scrap Our Stash Challenge Entry

Hi Everyone,

This layout is for both Skissedilla Sketch #233 Challenge and Scrap Our Stash Stash-A-Thon Birthday Challenge #2. For Scrap our Stash Challenge #2 was cake liner/doily.

To create this page I did my usual thing and gesso-ed the background cardstock. This was important for this page because I wanted my splats to stay sharp and focused. The doily was actually a red Christmas one, so i turned it over and gave it a coat of gesso. While that dried I made a spray from my gelato to add on top. I am very happy with the result. I then created my own washi tape from masking tape. I then added the spray ink in the background and the large blue splats on the right top of my page. I then finished creating my page. Please let me know if there is anything you would like explained in more detail.

Weekly Round-Up for Week Two

Hi Everyone,

I have decided that if I have something like JumpStart 2014 going on, in any particular month I will have a separate post for everything related to it.

I will then do a full round up post for everything, including the class/activity and all other projects, even if they already have their own post. Hopefully I will have time to create outside these and I can post them here too.

Life.Paper.Scrapbook Color Challenge. Unfortunately, I missed the deadline but just a minute or two, I will do better next time :)

I also completed the Skissedilla Challenge #231. I really enjoyed doing this page and had fun experimenting with using Liquid Nails for the texture in the background.
